Meanwhile, 9% of women who have sex with a partner and were willing to share how often they orgasm say that it “never” happens for them

When it comes to sex, many Americans aren’t reaching a “grand finale” every time. Data from YouGov Profiles finds that among people who have sex with a partner and are willing to share how often they climax during sex, over half (53%) of men say they have an orgasm every time compared to just a quarter (25%) of women.

The research finds shows that around a third of both women (34%) and men (32%) climax “most of the time”, while women are almost twice as likely as men to orgasm about half of the time (15% vs 8%). Women are about three times as likely as men to have an orgasm less than half the time (17% vs 5%), while 9% of women in this group say they “never” climax during sex with their partner, with 2% of men saying the same.

Further data from YouGov Profiles finds that heterosexual (55%) and bisexual (54%) men are the most likely to say they orgasm every time. The same is true for 46% of gay men, 41% of lesbian women, 24% of heterosexual women and 18% of bisexual women.

Women who are either lesbian (10%) or bisexual (9%) are the most likely to say that they “never” reach orgasm during sex with a partner. This data specifically reflects people who have sex with a partner and are willing to share how often they climax during sex.
