For 42% of US businesses, social media is the most successful inbound marketing strategy

This article cites a report by Clutch which revealed that, because of inbound marketing efforts, 72% of businesses in the US reported a growth in leads in the last six months. In the same period, over 55% of respondents observed an increase in conversions.

The study found that social media was the most successful inbound marketing strategy for 42% of those polled. However, only 21% of companies said it’s the “least successful” channel. 24% of participants use inbound marketing primarily to attract leads.

For another 24% of companies, the main objective is turning leads into customers and 14% use inbound marketing strategies to increase website traffic. Additionally, 62% of businesses make use of content promotion materials as a part of their inbound marketing strategy.
