A survey from Promo.com on Small Business Video Marketing Trends reveals that 51% of marketers publish a video more than once a week.
The report states more than three-quarters of marketers consider video as an essential part of their online marketing strategy. 36% of marketers reported creating more than five videos per month, indicating a continued trend of video marketing dominance across the globe.
35% of small businesses run their videos organically without any advertising budget. Tom More, CEO at Promo.com says that SMBs should create more videos, test various visuals and messages while experimenting with different audiences to compete with bigger brands.
The survey found that ads were the most popular content type for video marketing, which was closely followed by social. Facebook was the most preferred distribution channel with 54% of respondents ranking it as their top-performing channel.
