Capital One has registered the highest month-over-month uptick among all finance sector brands tracked by YouGov to be named the US Finance Advertiser of the Month in July.

The financial services brand released an ad in June featuring father-daughter acting pair of Eugene Levy and Sarah Levy, who star in popular TV show Schitt’s Creek. The ad, titled ‘Dad Mode’, shows Eugene using old-fashioned methods of number-crunching to help his daughter ahead of her car purchase. But Sarah has already run the numbers using a convenient feature on the Capital One app called Auto Navigator.

Starting with an Ad Awareness score of 35.4 on June 29, Capital One made steady gains to rise to 39.3 as of July 27. During the same period, the brand rose from 12.9 to 15.6 in its Buzz score, which reflects whether consumers have heard positive things or negative things about a brand.
