In every state in America except Montana, workers are considered by default to be 'at will'. This means that they can quit their jobs whenever they want, without notice. It also means that their employers can fire them whenever they want, without cause or severance pay. Would you support or oppose a law in your state which would require employers to either provide severance pay to former employees or fire workers for cause?
