Whether through masterful marketing or just good timing, RIM’s latest Blackberry campaign seems to be taking advantage of recent iPhone 4 woes. Recommend scores have nearly doubled since the campaign launch just two weeks ago. Chili’s and Applebee’s seem to be winning over consumers with their value offerings, while Red Lobster is suffering, likely from consumers’ increased concern about the gulf oil spill and its impact on seafood harvested from the region. Finally, Pep Boys’ largest campaign in years, titled “Does Everything for Less” is a hit with consumers. (+)
