(Week of 4/14/2012) Throughout his Administration, one of President Obama’s secret weapons has been likeability. Even many of the critics of his policies found him personally intelligent and likeable. However, Obama’s favorable score last exceeded 50% in mid-April and this week, for this first time, the percentage reporting they had unfavorable views of Obama exceeded 50%. With the Republican nomination contest all-but-completed, Republican leaders nationwide can begin to focus their attention on Obama, possibly with negative results for the President.
