YouGov panelist writes: Is there really a difference?

It is time for the American people to get a clue. Republicans and Democrats, is there really a difference? The far left Democrats and the far right Republicans are just as fanatical in their different beliefs and neither one is willing to compromise. How can we progress to a better place if no one is willing to work together: Democrat with Republican, Republican with Democrat? It is time to stop putting the different parties ahead of the American people. If you want to do what is best for this country just ask the people what they want.

Remember, the government works for us, not the other way around. For those of us that have been around for a century or more, we have seen what the best of America can be and now we are about to see what the worst of America can be. Greed and self interest has taken hold, whether it be in the news reporters, the financial market, the government or even in the churches; if Americans do not wake up to this fact and begin to work together for the good of all people we are surely a doomed country.

It matters not what religion you are, how much money you have (or don’t have) or whether you were born here or immigrated here; if you love this country and all it stands for, then release all the anger that the parties are trying to instill in you so that their party can win and become the people that America has come to stand for. People who see past the color of some one's skin, their religious beliefs, their financial standing or their ideology, and see the person that they are.

We are giving, forgiving, and freedom loving people who only want the best for this our country. It is time for all Americans to stand up and be counted.
