Summer’s in full swing across America and many people are gearing up for travel and family vacations. Regional terminology aside, YouGov wonders just how different American vacations are when compared to European holidays?

YouGov’s International Omnibus team surveyed US citizens and their European counterparts in the UK, Denmark, Germany, Sweden, and France to find the differences between where they go to get away, what kind of trips they prefer, and just how well they can “switch off” when they're abroad.
