Wide support for military action in North Korea

56% of Americans say they would support military action against North Korea, while 67% are concerned by the country as a military threat

A new YouGov poll reveals that 56% of Americans would support U.S. military action against North Korea if the country continues its military threats.

North Korea has recently made headlines as it escalated its threats against both South Korea and the United States. The country has officially ended its armistice with South Korea and recently displayed a map with missile attack plans against the United States.

A majority across all party affiliations would support military action against the Communist country, with Republicans most likely and Independents least likely to support it.

Overall, 17% of Americans would not support military action and 27% were not sure.

Furthermore, 67% of Americans were concerned by North Korea as a military threat to the United States. 25% were either not very concerned or not at all concerned.
